Do you like fruity Sauvignon Blanc or a buttery Chardonnay? Or something in between! Learn about the different approaches to winemaking between aromatic grapes like Sauvignon Blanc, and non-aromatic grapes like Chardonnay. 

In this class, you will learn about the role oak plays in making red wines by tasting both oaked and unoaked red wines. We will also compare and contrast wines with different bodies and levels of tannin.

There are several ways to make a sparkling wine. In this class we will compare traditional method wines like Champagne, with Prosecco, Cava and Asti. We will also discuss Pet Nats, which are very popular right now.

Many wineries are adopting sustainable farming practices. We will discuss the various approaches to sustainability, like dry farming, crop cover, and taste some of the wines that are being created by wineries following these practices. 

Did you know that wine can be a part of a Keto or low sugar diet?  In this class we will discuss the various elements of wine and the winemaking choices that help drive sugar levels in wine. We will also discuss other healthy choices, like wines made from organic grapes and low alcohol wines. 

From ports to ice wine, this class will not only discuss the various dessert and after dinner wine options. but we will also discuss how best to pair these wines. The class will feature 4 dessert wines and 3 different desserts so you can taste how each wine pairs with each dessert.
